Hi, I found a number of replies that say to put the InTheHand.Net.Personal and 32feetWidcomm DLLs in the same folder as the .exe on WM6. And I do exactly that except I still get the above System.MissingMethodException when the code executes: BluetoothClient bc = new BluetoothClient(); It appears that the Widcomm DLL is not in the execution path. The DLL I've place in the same folder as the .exe and InTheHand is the DLL in 32feet-48809/.../Pre-built/wm5/wm5.zip which I began using successfully nearly a year ago on the HP iPAQ 111. I'm now using the HTC Touch Phone and wondering if the problem is with the HTC. Any suggestions?

Hmm.   Firstly can you try a DLL from the current release, the Pre-built DLLs are quite of date.  As far as I know WM5 and WM6 use the same native files so that should be ok.  I'll provide more troubleshooting if its still not working.

Can you tell me where to find the current release? The last release I see under "Releases" is 32feet.NET 2.3 which is dated 2008. Is that the latest?

I too have the same issue. I get the exception message stating "Widcomm stack seems to be present, need to install 32feetWidcomm.dll alongside.". Can you pls tell what causes this error. Also can u provide which is the latest release for 32feetwidcomm.

I have done as you said. Still I get this problem. I m using the HTC touch 2 pro. Does the 32feetWidcomm support the HTC touch 2 pro model. Can you please help me on this.

The person above did get it to work, but is the same device "HTC Touch Phone" or not?  The chap at http://inthehand.co.uk/forums/p/3515/10348.aspx apparently does too "(HTC HD2 & Touch Pro2" -- although needed a never version to be able set radio mode.

What version are you using?  2.5?

Thanks for the reply. I used the latest version 2.5 and I the copied the 32feetWidcomm.dll to my directory. I tried with both 2.5.0 and 2.5.1 version of the 32feetWidcomm.dll. Stil I get the same exception telling "Widcomm stack seems to be present, need to install 32feetWidcomm.dll alongside." Is there anything more I have to do to rectify this error. Thanks in advance.

Hmm.  I'll create a wee program to provide some diagnostics.  Don't know whether I'll manage that today though...

Good stuff.  Its really wierd that running that program fixed it...

I have one more question. Seems client.SetPin() and client.Connect dosent work in Widcomm stack. Is there any other way to do it.
